ACR Electronics today announced the appointment of Marc Medeiros as the company’s Vice President of ARTEX, and the promotion of James Hunter to Sales and Product Manager. Together, they bring over 55 years of aviation sales, operations, and business development experience to the ARTEX brand.
Mr. Medeiros is an engineer by trade with a strong background in sales and business development. An FAA licensed pilot, he has extensive experience with aircraft OEMs, repair stations, and parts distribution. Reporting directly to ACR Electronics President John Nguyen, Marc will spearhead the ARTEX aviation team as they prepare to launch their 2020 product line-up that includes expanded kit offerings of the industry leading general aviation ELT 345 and the expansion of alkaline powered solutions for the transport market, including the new ELT 4000S Survival ELT.
“I am excited to join the ARTEX team and the company’s mission to continue saving lives,” Medeiros stated. “As a pilot I know the importance of having the best quality avionics onboard, and I am excited at this opportunity to work with James Hunter and the ARTEX team so we can continue to deliver growth to the ELT product lines.”
James Hunter, who has been managing ARTEX OEM sales for the past 4 years at ACR Electronics, has additionally been promoted to Sales and Product Manager. With over 30 years’ experience in the aviation community, Mr. Hunter will be expanding his role to take over the product management of all new ARTEX branded products.
