Generator expert highlights range of DC and AC generators, watermakers, air conditioning units
and electric propulsion for commercial workboats and vessels

Fischer Panda UK will introduce its comprehensive range of technically advanced AGT DC generators and highlight its full-system capabilities for commercial vessels at this year’s Seawork International.
The leading diesel generators distributor will showcase its AC and DC generators, as well as its Dometic air-conditioning systems, hybrid electric propulsion systems and watermakers, demonstrating its ability to supply the whole product package, servicing and aftercare to commercial customers.
Fischer Panda AGT DC generators
The Fischer Panda AGT DC generators are extremely efficient and exceptionally quiet running generators which are ideal for keeping the batteries well charged in the most efficient method possible. The generators are also a perfect support for electric propulsion drives for commercial vessels, dramatically extending their operational range. Over 130 of the Fischer Panda AGT generators have been supplied to the RNLI for use in various classes of lifeboat due to their reliability and efficiency.
The charge output from the generator is directly controlled by the engine speed, leading to exceptionally high efficiency. Auto start is built-in as standard which enables the battery condition to control when, and for how long, the generator runs, ensuring the engine is always correctly loaded.
The compact AGT 4000PMS weighs just 90kg and is capable of producing 3.2 kW at normal running speed with a noise level of just 54dbA. The AGT 5000PMS can provide 4 kW and is slightly heavier at 139kg, but with no increase in noise level. The standard range is available up to 25 kW, with larger sets available on request.
With the use of these fully automatic, diesel-powered AGT battery chargers, all on-board AC load scenarios can be comfortably accommodated via a Mastervolt smart Inverter system. Fischer Panda DC sets are 'Twin Circuit Cooled' via an integral heat exchanger and treated sealed fresh water circuit. They are all also available with any requested DC voltage output. In nearly all cases, the overall efficiency is far greater than conventional systems with a considerably lower environmental impact.
Fischer Panda Electric Drive Systems
Fischer Panda also presents its range of electric powered drives at Seawork for low-cost operation which is environmentally advanced when compared to traditional petrol or diesel drive systems.
In addition to its highly respected Whisperprop Drive Systems, Fischer Panda UK now introduces the Bellmarine electric drive systems designed in the Netherlands specifically for the marine market.
Silent running and up to 100% emission free, electric power can provide all the power and manoeuvrability needed for operation. Batteries are charged through the on-board charger when connected to shore power. When shore power is unavailable, the system can be supported by a compact Fischer Panda diesel generator to charge the batteries, commonly known as a ‘range extender’.
