Fischer Panda UK to Showcase Power of Electric at First Green Tech Boat Show
Fischer Panda UK is introducing its complete, customised electric drive solutions at the first MDL Green Tech Boat Show on 19th to 20th June at Queen Anne’s Battery, Plymouth.
Offering leading eco-friendly, cost-effective and low maintenance systems, the Verwood-based integrated marine system specialist will highlight the potential of electric in enabling boat owners to improve on-board comfort and experience, reduce emissions and protect the environment.
The Green Tech Boat Show, designed for boat owners wishing to make the switch to greener options, will showcase the latest green technologies and sustainable options, including Fischer Panda UK’s battery, parallel hybrid and generator supported electric propulsion solutions, linked with its Mastervolt system integration equipment. The outstanding advantage offered to customers is the company’s full-system consultation and installation services, enabling boat owners to discuss their needs with the experienced Fischer Panda UK engineers and develop a complete and appropriate solution.

Fischer Panda UK specifies its systems with 48V electric motors, a voltage level which can be easily managed without a requirement for additional safety measures. The company then formulates the entire solution to the same voltage, including the Mastervolt system, battery, converters and inverters, and generator. The systems incorporate either a Fischer Panda ‘Easy Box’ Electric Drive System or Bellmarine system, both outstanding solutions offering the dependability and low noise levels associated with brushless, water-cooled motors. For customers who do not want to be reliant on mains charging or marina hook up, and when solar or other sources of power may not be sufficient, Fischer Panda UK offers the most advanced variable speed generators to extend cruising time, with less fuel burn and general wear compared to fixed speed units.
Fischer Panda UK offers electric and hybrid systems to both commercial and private boat builders and owners for newly built vessels or retro-fitting. It can offer drive systems in the range from 2 kW to 100 kW, available with voltages ranging from 24V to 360V depending on the power requirements.
Fischer Panda UK’s VS Series of variable speed hybrid DC generators for electric propulsion enable the generator speed to be regulated in accordance with the required power, reducing noise and fuel consumption. The gensets offer either silent electric cruising powered from the battery bank alone or hybrid cruising using the batteries and the variable speed DC generator as a range extender.
Visitors to the The Green Tech Show will need to book an appointment in advance to view boats. Access to landside exhibits will be ticketed to the general public.
